What a juxtaposition, the delicate, clear, transparent life against the hard, rusted, pitted, cold and lifeless.

This is pretty much an untouched raw file - You can see the delicate bluish shimmer along the sides.  Trying to get the right subtleties and details with this series was frustrating and took all day. Even a little 'sharpening' caused him to look course and scratchy instead of smooth. refined and polished.   So please view the photos as my attempt to show what my eye actually saw, but am unable to capture in just one image. Hope they end up doing him some justice.
